Gaming guides in 2022? Due to the normalization of gaming and the internet (along with technological advances) the real surge of esports came in the noughties. It was then that we began seeing what we now know to be modern-day esports. As streaming platforms such as Twitch and YouTube took off, people began to show interest in not only playing videogames but watching them too. Popular tournaments now sell out stadiums and professional players (like Ninja) can earn millions between prize money, advertising and salaries.

In this day and age when games are competing for the best cinematic experiences, a 2D massively multiplayer browser game sounds like a welcome respite, one with oozes nostalgia. BrowserQuest is among those games, and it’s aged surprisingly well, making it among the best online games you can play today, almost eight years after its release. Made in HTML5, this action RPG game starts you off as a simple villager, and it’s up to you to go on a quest to explore the world, hunt, collect items and gain achievements. You can also connect with other players all over the world, as well as team up with them to fight enemies or go on hunts. In Cookie Clicker if you achieve certain goals you’ll get achievements badges and each one of them increases the amount of milk. There are 378 Normal Achievements and 13 Shadow Achievements plus 4 Dungeon Achievements but they are only obtainable in the Dungeons Beta. Normal achievements increase your milk percentage by 4% each to a maximum of 1,512% milk. Shadow achievements do not affect milk. The numbers shown on the tables below represents the normal achievements, which are counted by default. Shadow achievements are uncounted until they are earned, and are then shown as +1. Cooking Craze looks and feels similar to Cooking City. They’re both bright, colorful, time-management titles. Here too, the goal is to complete food combos for your customers. A minor complaint is that Cooking Craze has a less intuitive interface than Cooking City. You’ll also experience more ads in it. Cooking Fever is an extremely popular game in this category. Like the others, the goal is to fulfill time-based food combos. Unlike the previous two apps, there’s restaurant management involved right from the get-go. As such, there’s more complexity to it. We really liked that this game takes its time explaining the controls to you. It also walks you through the process of creating combos.
Final Fantasy 7 Remake is coming to the PlayStation 5, but it’s not just getting the standard 60-frames-per-second at 4K treatment. Final Fantasy 7 Intergrade brings a new chapter to the story in which you play as Yuffie, a favorite from the original game. Mario is dusting off his clubs for another 18 holes. Mario Golf: Super Rush reprises the N64’s Mario Golf, and is Mario’s third sports jaunt on the Switch after Tennis and the Winter Olympics (with Sonic). Super Rush includes a promising multiplayer mode, as well as a role-playing single player mode that stars your Mii. In Overcooked 2 you play as a cartoon chef with the sole aim of fulfilling customer orders by following recipes using the various ingredients, utensils, and gadgets around the kitchen. Simple, right? No. Overcooked 2 ramps up the difficulty with each new level, starting out with one ingredient sushi recipes in a standard kitchen, to careering through the clouds on a burning hot air balloon while managing multiple pizza orders. It also means a lot of teamwork, and communication – so a stack of dirty plates doesn’t build up and cost you precious points. Overcooked 2 doubles down on the platforming elements of the first game, with levels boasting moving sections of kitchen, jumping puzzles, and even conveyor belts. Plus, you can throw ingredients around this time, which saves on time – thank goodness Onion Kingdom doesn’t have food hygiene ratings.
Chinese Food! is a ridiculous game, for which the only skill you need is tapping. You have a wide range of recipe options that include fried rice, fried noodles, fortune cookies, and sweet-and-sour chicken. Chinese Food! utilizes a half-cartoon, half-real pictures graphic style that makes slicing raw meat on a fake granite surface in front of a fake mustard yellow-tiled wall weirdly unnerving. But like I said before, this game is all about tapping: You tap to cut, you tap to fry, and you tap to eat. Tapping to eat is a popular aspect of these food games and one that is incredibly unsatisfying. You put in all this calculated craft work only to watch your plate disappear as you sit there and poke at your food. Some important things I learned from Chinese Food!: sweet-and-sour chicken is made up of green peppers, onions, pineapple, chicken, white vinegar, sugar, ketchup, and cornish rapeseed oil, and you shape fortune cookies by dropping them on the side of a cup. Download Chinese Food! for free at the App Store. Discover extra details at https://mytrendingstories.com/.
Most of us know about the eccentric and easily irritable chef Gordon Ramsay thanks to a series of TV reality shows that have aired over the years. What if he had his own game, wouldn’t that be better? Well he does, and it’s made by Glu, a developer popular in the mobile gaming segment. Known as Restaurant Dash, the gameplay revolves around a busy restaurant, and of course, Gordon Ramsay. The concept of this game is somewhat similar to Diner Dash (which is also created by Glu Mobile). You have time based events, so you’re required to be quick. You will build restaurants, and eventually expand your empire all over the world. The more restaurants you have, the better you’ve done in the game. This is indeed a fun cooking and food game. There are dedicated boss battles within the game featuring Gordon Ramsay, which is a fun way to test your in-game skill. Customization of the character is another major factor here, as the game allows you to create and design your avatar the way you want. There have been several “Dash” based games, but this personalized avatar is a first for this particular game by the developers. Expectedly, the app is free to download from Google Play App Store, but contains ads and in-app purchases. As with the game above, this one too will work on any device (including tablets) running Android 4.0.3 or above.
